The most common type is the doe foot applicator which is a simple stick with a slanted sponge tip at the end. The sponge applicator lip gloss can be easily carried anywhere. On the downside, the sponge applicator can accrue bacteria. The sponge applicator is also short, so the gloss at the bottom of the cylindrical tube can’t be retrieve.

The squeeze tube applicator is also pretty common. It is also angled, so all you need to do is squeeze the tube to produce the lip gloss and apply it over your lips. It can be easily cleaned but sometimes applying it can get a little messy.

The click-pen brush applicator has a thin tube and has a cap on top of it. All you need to do is take off the cap and twist it, the gloss will come our through the thin brushes and you can apply it on your lips. The application is precise and you can define your lips easily.
