Go for Natural Makeup This Summer

So you want stay cool but look hot this summer? Less or minimal makeup is the golden rule here.  Summer makeup should not be too heavy and you should be able to see your features at their best. There are thousands of cosmetics and beauty products on the market especially for summers which helps you get that clean soft look.

Here are some suggestions for a flawless, beautiful face:

Face Makeup:

Foundation: You can apply a foundation to even out your skin tone. It will go on evenly and no lines to ruin the effect. You can apply tinted moisturizers with sun block to even out your skin tone. The best part is your skin will feel fresh and breathe freely. Women with oily skin should choose an oil-free foundation and apply it with a damp sponge. If you don’t like wearing foundation, you can use a light concealer. But make sure you apply it in the areas that need special attention.

Blush: Now apply a blush to the cheekbones. There are so many colors to select from which makes selecting the right one very difficult. In summers, opt for peach or pink blush that has a hint of shimmer. It will give a light reflecting glow to your face.

Compact Powder: Now that you are done with your blusher, apply a compact powder with a powder puff to give more coverage. This will help your makeup set in place.

Eye Makeup:

Eyeshadow: Use warm, neutral and soft shimmery eyeshadow shades in summers. Apply a light shimmery, satin eyeshadow all over the eye and then apply a complementary shade over the lid to the crease.

Mascara: Mascara is a must for complete makeup. Do not apply too much mascara; spidery looking lashes are really not impressive. Use dark brown mascara in summer days if you want a natural look.

Lip Makeup: Go for a lip gloss or lip balm this summer. Nude lips not only natural but also sensuous. If your lips are dry, then apply a lip balm before applying a lip color. You can curl your lashes to make them look longer and your eyes bigger.

Now this is your perfect summer makeup. You are wearing it, but people won’t be able to see it and still you will look gorgeous!

How to Choose Right Lipstick?

Do you want to learn how to choose a right shade and application technique of lipstick? Have you ever wondered how many women some women look stunning by just wearing a glossy lipstick? The simple trick is selecting a lipstick that goes well with your skin tone, shapes of your lips and right application.
When selecting a lipstick you should consider three things; natural color of your lips, type of your attire and color of the lipstick itself.
Always go for a creamy lipstick which has a touch of matte. It looks elegant and stays for a few hours.
If your lips are dry, peeled or cracked, make sure you softly exfoliate your lips with the toothbrush which will remove any dry skin. Also apply a lip balm as a base of the lipstick to moisturize your lips. You can also apply a foundation on your lips for a smooth finish.
Apply the lip liner before your lipstick. Women who have thick lips should draw the line on the inner edge of the lips, while women with thin lips should draw the line from outer side.
Now pick the right color of lipstick that works best with your skin tone. You can use a good brush to apply the lipstick. Apply a thin coat but few coats on your lips. Blot out the excess oil of your lips with the help of a tissue paper.
Apply a little amount of your compact powder over the lips to give a matte finish. You can also apply lip gloss to make your lips glossy.
